This is a register of plaques in public places located within the North Sydney Council local government area. The original plaque registry was compiled by Miss Phyllis Geoghegan of the North Shore Historical Society based on earlier work by Mrs Isabella Brierley and Mrs Beryl Graham of the same society. The North Sydney Council Historian now manages the plaques program and register. The register was designed to manage and monitor the various plaques, each representing a unique piece of history relavant to the area. Contact the Library if you require further information. |
