A Pictorial History of the Wollondilly Shire

This site contains a unique collection of images of the Wollondilly Shire from early times to the present day.

It shows the physical growth of the area, the people who made it happen and their life styles at work and play.

The original images are held by the Wollondilly Library and Information Service and the Historical Societies within the shire and are provided in a joint co-operative undertaking for the benefit of those interested in local history.

The images displayed are only an example of the collections held by the contributors.
